Maxwell Render without MXS

April 17th 2008: Rendering with Maxwell Render from project files created in 3dsmax, C4D, XSI and Maya

By continuously enhancing our rendering farm software we are now able to render projects for Maxwell Render directly from the host-applications 3D Studio MAX, Cinema 4D, Softimage XSI and Maya. Lightwave support will be available soon.

What's special about this?

From now on there's no need for our customers to create an MXS-file (Maxwell Scene Format) for every single frame of animation to be rendered. Instead you can simply send us the single project file from the host-application 3D Studio MAX, Cinema 4D, Softimage XSI or Maya. Therefore the tiresome step of exporting up to thousands of files isn't necessary any more. Furthermore the size of the data-upload turns from gigabytes into megabytes. A lot of projects wouldn't be possible without this improvement.

About Next Limit Technologies

Since its foundation in Madrid in 1998 by Victor Gonzales and Ignaco Vargas, Next Limit Technologies developed software such as RealFlow, Maxwell Render and XFlow. Development is focused on making use of physical knowledge, and integrating it into the field of 3D visualization. RealFlow is a liquid- and physics-simulation, while Maxwell Render acts as a physics-based light-simulator. All software-products are available for several platforms and integrate with the most known DCC and CAD applications.
