REBUSfarm supports the following Renderers for Cinema 4D:

• VRay
• Advanced Renderer
• Standard Renderer

For Cinema 4D projects using Maxwell Render, please visit the Maxwell Render tutorial.

The usual rendering job consists of the following steps:

• Checking the scene and compressing it.
• Uploading the file.
• Contacting REBUS staff.
• Downloading the finished renderings.
• Payment.

Checking the scene.

• File names may only contain the characters A-Z, a-z, 0-9, as well as _-.
• Make sure that there are no duplicate filenames in your bitmap-files.
• With static scenes which use GI, please include the precalculated final gather / irradiance / lightcache.

Compressing the scene.

Create a compressed archive containing the scene and all used textures. If you're using plugins, GI maps, etc., please include the necessary files in the archive.

Uploading the file.

Log in on the "My Rebus"-page of our website. If you're not registered yet, you can do so under "Register". When logged in, you can find an uploading interface for your archive-file under "Uploader". Click on "Add", choose a file, and click on "Upload".

Send an e-mail to  This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it and inform us about your rendering job. You will be contacted shortly after, stating an obligatory cost calculation. Up to this point our service is completely free. Should you accept the estimated price, we'll immediately start on your project.

Your e-mail should contain the following information:

• The basic rendering specs (frame ranges, resolution, output file-type)
• If necessary please inform our staff about the usage of Xref- or pointcache-files.

Downloading the finished renderings.

The rendered images can be checked and dowloaded from the "Download"-folder in the REBUSfarm "Uploader". Alternatively you can use Microsoft Internet Explorer for download, or install an FTP client on your computer.

Payment.

After the rendering job is finished, you'll receive an invoice, which can be payed via bank-transfer or PayPal. For customers from Germany, the usual 19% VAT are added to the calculated price. All customers from outside of Germany will get an invoice without added VAT. From customers inside the EU (except for Germany) we need the customer's VAT-ID for the invoice.
